Bringing Down The MoonSmall, yellow ducks circled the ceiling. They glowed, and were like a gentle disco ball against the dim light from the boy's lampshade. He was snug in his cot, mouth slightly ajar, piercing red eyes slits, heart beating perfectly, rhythmically, soothingly. Short, messy blonde hair and tank pyjamas.

A voice spoke. A lullaby to his ears.

'"The moon," whispered Mole. "It must have fallen down with me." He reached out to pick up the moon. But as soon as he touched it, it broke into pieces and vanished.'

His father recognised his son's heavy breathing. He was asleep, yet duty and love encouraged the man to keep on reading. He felt relaxed, contBringing Down The Moon by ~Bureizu-za-Vampire

His eyes danced, daring her to scold him; to beat him and force him back to his breaking feet. The boy was growing frail and was idiotic to continue like this. He should have bowed his head and walked away months ago, but he was ridiculously stubborn and she tried to not let this bother her.

Edward didn't move. He remained on his backside, having being splattered to the ground seconds ago. The technique she had been teaching him for the past few weeks had run its course and he was convinced he couldn't defend himself. What she was doing was too much for the small child. She was crazy to think so much of him, and he was begiZeal by ~Bureizu-za-Vampire

Lieutenant General Hawkeye decided to accept the weather as simple irony. She wasn't one for superstition, and today wasn't the day she should feel pessimistic. Those arduous years had felt like a week. It was all so damn quick. They weren't been able to stop and think, to realise what sort of demonic light they were racing towards.

She swallowed. Too fast. It's too fast. He knows it's too fast.

The uniform seemed much heavier than usual. It weighed her down and she suddenly felt underweight and fragile. Limp. Useless. Exhausted and defeated. Yes, she was defeated. She had given her very soul for this day to Buried Beneath The Inferno, Chapter 1 by ~Bureizu-za-Vampire

Because of the new FMA anime's release, I figured it deserved a club of it's own. So welcome! To the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Club!

Wait... there's a new FMA anime out? There is indeed! It is currently being released in America with English dub.

That's awesome! YES IT IS. And that's why I made this club, it will be dedicated entirely to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood!

What qualifies as FMA: Brotherhood fanart/fanfiction?

YOU CAN submit any original work that has anything at all to do with FMA: Brotherhood.
YOU CAN submit any generic pictures of characters (Ed, Al, Roy, Winry, Riza, Havoc, etc.)
YOU CAN NOT submit anything that relates to the first FMA anime.
YOU CAN NOT submit anything that relates soley to the manga and not to Brotherhood.
YOU CAN NOT submit any screencaps or motivational posters or the like.
YOU CAN NOT submit any drawings that you have copied/traced from an official image/screencap.
CONSIDER a piece with an OC in it BEFORE you submit, please. I don't have anything major aganist OCs, but does your story really coincide with Brotherhood? If so, then go ahead and submit!
So hopefully that clears a few things up!

Remember: this club is specifically for the Brotherhood anime! :D

I'm going to try and make these as simple as possible. Any member can vote; you don't have to have a piece in the contest or anything.

I know I've been neglecting this club a bit the past month or so (due to classes starting and work), but I need to get my act together! I've gotten a few messages from members concerning the contest, so I'm here to clear things up!

The final deadline for the contest is now Oct. 21st! Voting rules will be explained soon!

Please submit your entries to the "CONTEST" folder! If you submit to another folder, I won't know if it's meant to be in the contest or not!

THEME: Crossover!

This means you can take any Brotherhood character(s) and either dress them up as or meet your favorite character(s) from any other series! This can either be through a drawing, comic, or story.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask, but please read the rules first!

Hi - just popping over to promote an art challenge some of your members might enjoy.

It's time for the FMA Big Bang Challenge once again. However, things are going to run a bit differently this year. In fact. they're going to run completely in reverse!

That's right folks, this year's challenge will actually be a Reverse Big Bang. This means that you, the artists, set the pace this year by drawing whatever FMA-themed art you are bunnied to. After it's done, we'll pair you up with an author who will then write a story inspired by your art. How cool is that? Usually it's fanfic that inspires art, but here is your chance as an artist to directly inspire an author or two.

While the challenge is hosted on Livejournal, you do not need a Livejournal account to sign up.
